Bespoke Writing Holidays

Always wanted to write? We can put together a bespoke holiday with daily creative writing tuition in beautiful surroundings. The rules of writing are the same, whether you’re writing at 8 or 80, and whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been writing for decades. It’s a perfect activity to do in a group, with friends, family, or even a hen do, partnering writing with a visit to local gin producer, Dark Art Distillery.

Anstey Harris has decades of experience as a teacher as well as being an internationally best-selling author, Richard and Judy pick, and winner of the 2015 H G Wells Short Story Prize.

We can offer you a fabulous balance of writing sessions and lessons, feedback on your current work-in-progress, and glorious food. Each holiday comes with the opportunity to send Anstey a writing sample in advance which she will give one-to-one feedback on either as a plot walk or a sit-down chat over coffee and cakes.

We will structure your days as you’d like them with an emphasis either on teaching or quiet writing time in our beautiful teaching studio, while you relax in our comfortable cottage and enjoy our fully catered service. You could also fit a short writing course (from half a day up to five) inside a longer stay in our beautiful cottage, converted from an 18^th century barn and in the UNESCO biosphere.
