Getting Here

We are a very easy drive from the M6. If you’re coming from England, take the first left after the iconic Fàilte gu Alba sign and drive for exactly an hour. We are also within easy reach of the M74.

We encourage our visitors to look at public transport when they visit us. The direct bus from Dumfries train station stops right outside our kitchen window. The easiest public transport connections are from Dumfries or Lockerbie (or we can arrange links to collect you from either). Lockerbie trains connect directly with Manchester airport, and both towns have frequent direct trains to Glasgow or Edinburgh. The extensive Scottish bus network can found here: Traveline Scotland (use ‘Bridge Of Dee, Shelter, At’ in the drop down menu for your destination).

If you decide to drive, we have ample parking on-street and in our drive. SE2SW is located just off the A75, on what was once the main road between Dumfries & Stranraer, here: What3Words: Scribbled crispy trips
